Pricing
What a branded real estate magazine costs
Magazines run from $2.99 to $8.00 per copy.
Where you land in that range comes down to three things.
Page count
A 36-page magazine costs less to produce than a 60-page one. Straightforward.
Binding
Perfect binding, the flat glued spine, costs meaningfully more than saddle stitch. This is usually the single largest swing in the per-copy price.
Quantity
Per-copy cost drops as volume rises. Setup is a fixed cost spread across the run, so larger orders carry a lower unit price.
At the low end of the range you’re looking at a shorter, saddle-stitched magazine at higher volume. At the top end, a longer perfect-bound issue with the full set of custom pages.
What’s included in the per-copy price
- All editorial content, written and photographed for your market
- Design and layout of your custom pages
- Printing and binding
- Hosted digital flipbook edition
What’s quoted separately
Mailing. Postage is quoted separately, because it depends on your mailing list or the carrier routes you select. We estimate it for you at the time of purchase. Individual clear poly bagging is part of the mailing service.
Minimum order
We don’t publish a hard minimum. Most agents start at 50 magazines or more. If you want to run a smaller quantity, ask: saddle-stitched runs are simple enough that we can often accommodate a short run.
Getting a real number
Page count is what moves the price, but the question that actually determines it is simpler: how many custom pages do you want?
Two things set your page count. First, how many pages you want for yourself: your welcome note, your listings, anything else you want to run. Second, whether you take the full 48-page editorial section or a pared-down 32-page version, which is the lever agents pull when they want to bring the cost down.
Tell us how many custom pages you have in mind, how many homes are in your farm, and whether you want saddle stitch or perfect binding. That’s enough to quote you.
